Wonderful place! Great with kids!! Very patient and kid friendly! The staff seems to really love their job! Dr. Kayla is the best! My 2 year old went for the first time and they made sure they already had her favorite colors. Dr Esther made sure to connect with my kids and their interest I put in their chart and with what stuffies they had. Highly recommend. We had such a wonderful experience at Sweet Maple Pediatric Dentistry, and I can confidently say this office went above and beyond for our son.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and thoughtfully designed for kids. Instead of just having a TV playing in the waiting room, they had busy boards and interactive activities to help keep children entertained and comfortable. The front desk staff was incredibly warm, friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which immediately made us feel at ease.

Our son has ADHD and can become overwhelmed with sensory input, so dental appointments can sometimes be a lot for him. Once we were taken back, they were very understanding of that. They had a movie playing for him and even provided headphones so he could stay occupied and comfortable without becoming overstimulated. That small gesture meant so much to us because it showed they were paying attention to what he needed as an individual, not just treating him like another patient.

The dental assistant was amazing. She had already reviewed the information I had provided and asked a few additional questions, so I didn’t have to explain our entire situation all over again. She was incredibly patient with Hudson and took the time to explain every tool she planned to use. She even let him see and touch some of them so he could understand how they worked.

What stood out to me most was the way she spoke to him. She explained everything clearly and respectfully without ever talking down to him or making him feel like he wouldn’t understand. She genuinely listened to his questions and concerns, answered him directly, and moved at a pace that helped him feel comfortable and involved in his own care.

The X-ray process was also completely different from what we had experienced before. Instead of using a large plate inside his mouth that could make him uncomfortable or potentially cause him to gag, they had him bite down on a much smaller piece of equipment. They were able to get clear X-rays that other offices had struggled to obtain, which was such a relief.

The doctor was just as thorough and compassionate. Everything was explained in great detail to both my husband and me, and we were given a treatment plan that felt much more reasonable and appropriate for Hudson than what had previously been recommended elsewhere. We never felt rushed, dismissed, or pressured. Every question we had was answered clearly and thoughtfully.

Even with the amount of time they spent explaining everything, answering Hudson’s questions, accommodating his sensory needs, and making sure he was comfortable, we were not stuck in the office for hours. Our appointment was at 10:00 AM, and we were walking out by 11:30 AM.

At checkout, we were again given plenty of time to ask questions, and every concern was answered with patience and care. We left the office feeling informed, reassured, and confident about the next steps. The only thing left for us to do was begin planning for the dental surgery Hudson needs.

Every person we interacted with was kind, compassionate, patient, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. The entire experience — from the office environment, to the staff, to the way they accommodated Hudson’s ADHD and sensory needs — exceeded our expectations.

I would recommend Sweet Maple Pediatric Dentistry to any of my close friends or family members without hesitation. Finding a dental office where you feel like your child is truly being listened to, respected, understood, and cared for means so much, and we are incredibly grateful for the experience we had here.

I took both my 3 year old girl and 6 year old son here based on a local Facebook group feedback. I had high hopes, despite having less than stellar experiences at other pediatric dentists. Dr. Kayla and her team are truly amazing. My 6 year old son is autistic and doesn't appreciate certain things. They took this in to consideration and he thinks of them as friends (his words, not mine). My 3 year old girl is neurotypical but more feisty, but she absolutely loved them also. She now asks to go to the dentist instead of going to school (and she loves school). My 6 year old needed a lot of dental work done and they gave me a very clear treatment plan, including costs. My son had great experiences with procedures that could be very painful, and that I was very worried about. Every single part of the team (reception, the assistant, and Dr. Kayla) made him feel comforted and cared for. We are very thankful for the team here!

PS - The cost of dental care is not their fault - they gave us estimates of the costs, despite us not having dental insurance, and they scheduled us based on when we could afford the treatment. We hugely appreciate the small town feel of the care we received.

Amazing!!!! Idk what the girls name that cleaned my youngest teeth(4 years old Atreyu) and did x-rays but gosh darn  she her self needs a 10 star she was so so amazing like so absolutely beautiful, stunning and incredible she was so patient and just you could tell she’s there for the babies! Amazing office and staff!! Such a blessing having found them! Everyone from the front desk, to the hygienists/assistants, to Dr. Newton is so friendly and helpful. They were so patient and compassionate with my 2 year old and understanding of my concerns as her mama. Ashley went above and beyond helping figure out our insurance and offering information and making sure everything was taken care of. Clean office and warm vibe with lots of attention to detail…. from the decor, to the TVs on the ceiling, and blankets for the kids to be cozy/calm. Dr. Newton was very thorough and took very good care of my toddler who had to have lots of dental work done. She took the time to interact with my toddler, joked with her to make her laugh, explained tools to her and let her touch the mirror, and even involved my toddlers baby doll to help her feel comfortable.
